Terms of Service
Last updated: September 24, 2026
1. Who we are
TorquePilot is operated by Christian Harris, an individual based in Kentucky, United States ("we", "us"). When you use TorquePilot you are contracting with Christian Harris.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use TorquePilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. The service
TorquePilot provides AI-assisted vehicle diagnostic guidance, a vehicle helper chat, and links to third-party diagram resources. You must be at least 18 years old, or have authority to bind the organization you represent. Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your information accurate.
4. AI output and safety
Diagnostic suggestions, repair steps, and part numbers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not a substitute for a qualified technician's judgment or manufacturer service information. Always verify before repairing, follow safety procedures, and do not drive a vehicle that may be unsafe. You are responsible for the information you enter and how you use the output.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to send spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or upload content you don't have rights to;
- interfere with security, introduce malware, probe, scrape, or overload the service;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service, or bypass usage limits;
- attempt to make the AI produce harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
We may remove content, limit AI responses, or restrict accounts that break these rules.
6. Intellectual property
We own TorquePilot, including its software, design, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. You keep ownership of the content you enter and grant us a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the service. Rights holders can report infringing content to Torquepilotai@outlook.com; repeat infringers will be removed.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for our orders. It provides billing-related customer support and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, and cancellation terms are shown to you at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy.
8. Availability
We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change features over time.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. When access ends, your data may be deleted after a reasonable period; contact us to request an export first.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, data, or vehicle damage arising from reliance on AI guidance. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.
12. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, and disputes will be handled by the courts located there. You may not transfer your account without our consent. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
