1. Who is responsible

TorquePilot is operated by Christian Harris, Kentucky, United States. Christian Harris is the data controller for personal information collected through TorquePilot and decides how and why it is used.

2. What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login credentials) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Vehicle and case data (VINs, complaints, codes, test results, photos, repair notes) — to provide diagnostics (contract).
• Chat messages with the AI helper — to answer your questions (contract).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Confirmed repairs may be stored in anonymised form (no names, emails or VINs) to improve future diagnostic suggestions. Payment details are collected by our payment provider, not by us.

3. Who we share it with

• Service providers that host the app, store data, and run AI processing on our behalf.
• Our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record for sales, subscription management, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How long we keep it

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain uses, by emailing Torquepilotai@outlook.com. Depending on where you live (for example under U.S. state privacy laws or the GDPR), you may also have the right to complain to a regulator. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and account-scoped data separation to protect your information.

7. International transfers

Data is processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and the app working. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser, but you will be signed out.
